The first exit-poll is out in the UK General Election Thursday night (June 8th). The joint poll on the UK TV networks suggests that the Conservatives will hold the largest party at 314 followed by Labor at 266. The other parties include the Lib Dem’s at 14, UKIP 0 and the SNP(Scottish National Party) which has 34.
Since the numbers in the exit-poll are so close it is being reported that there will be a hung-Parliament which means no single political party (or bloc of allied parties) has an absolute majority of seats in the parliament (legislature) and that Teresa May is no longer the Prime Minister of the UK.
We will receive the first vote counts at midnight British Standard Time (7ET/6CT/4PT).
