On Thursday, May 11th President Trump issued an Executive Order established: The Presidential Advisory Commission on Election Integrity (Commission). Sanders told reporter during May 11ths White Briefing “current and former secretary’s of state with former Kansas Secretary of State Kris William Kobach” serving as the Commissions Vice-Chair.” she also says “the Commission will include individuals with knowledge and experience in elections, election management, election fraud detection and voter integrity efforts.”
(To watch the full clip with Deputy Secretary Sanders giving details on the Commission see links above.)
The commission will be chaired the Vice-President Mike Pence who will “chair the Commission, which shall be composed of not more than 15 additional members.” The members of the Commission will “include individuals with knowledge and experience in elections, election management, election fraud detection, and voter integrity efforts, and any other individuals with knowledge or experience that the President determines to be of value to the Commission.”
The Commission will identify the three areas that have happened concerning election integrity:
(a) those laws, rules, policies, activities, strategies, and practices that enhance the American people’s confidence in the integrity of the voting processes used in Federal elections;
(b) those laws, rules, policies, activities, strategies, and practices that undermine the American people’s confidence in the integrity of the voting processes used in Federal elections; and
(c) those vulnerabilities in voting systems and practices used for Federal elections that could lead to improper voter registrations and improper voting, including fraudulent voter registrations and fraudulent voting.
The Commission will “hold public meetings and engage with Federal, State, and local officials, and election law experts, as necessary” during the review process which will “terminate 30 days after it(the Commission) submits its report to the President.
The California’s Election Integrity Project, Inc. (EIP) said in a press release sent to reporters that they(EIP) “applauds President Trump for his initiative in taking a positive and decisive step to investigate the integrity of America’s electoral processes.” EIP observed election procedures in the major elections back in 2012, 2014, and 2016, as well as numerous local and special elections in between. They provided incident reports that tell a frightening story about how unprotected Californians’ votes really are because of lax laws, lack of enforcement of state and federal election law, poor or incorrect training of poll workers and insecure registration and voting procedures. Last (August 2015), the California Advisory Committee to the U. S. Commission on Civil Rights took a full day of testimony from citizens from all parts of California, and from California’s Election Integrity Project, Inc. spokespersons, which painted a vivid picture of how deeply and consistently the electoral process violates the Civil Rights of all California citizens. However, an unprecedented effort to protect the wrongdoing and the wrong doers,” caused the report of the Committee to be “heavily redacted” and then “lost” in the bureaucracy.” It has yet to see the light of day.
I contacted Orlean Koehle The President of The California Eagle Forum and asked her what ; she told me “I’m delighted to hear the good news” and that “voter fraud has been stealing elections for many years especially in the state of California.” she is also “so thrilled that President Trump will hopefully put a stop to voter fraud.”
